Autumn Events Recap; Featured Alumna
APT has enjoyed some great gatherings this Autumn and done a lot of good work for the community too.
November APT
In November we met up at Beignets & Brews to enjoy yummy treats, beverages, and conversation. We collected food items for Second Harvest and the FSU pantries, too.
December APT
For our December gathering, we met up at Hopkins Eatery on Market Street. We enjoyed a meal together and gathered up all the gifts that our members purchased for the Pace Center for Girls. All told, we were able to shop for five of the ten wish lists AND supply the Center with bins of holiday decor items. Thank you, shoppers!

Featured Alumna
We’re starting a new feature on the APT website – Featured Alumna. If your volunteer work or business would like to be featured, drop us an email.
Our first Featured Alumna is Laura Morris of Phi Mu. Laura has been a long-time supporter of APT and it feels good to give her a shout-out. Laura is involved with OLLI as chair of the Spanish Club and offers lessons there as well. Many of you know her love of beauty (Mary Kay!) and Star Trek.
In addition to all that, Laura offers a wide range of tutoring services through her Math Matters business. She specializes in Elementary, Middle, and High School mathematics including Algebra and Geometry. She offers SAT/ACT and GED prep services, and coversation and grammar skills for both Spanish and French. In Laura’s own words, It’s easy when you know how!
