Heart-healthy refreshments will be served and the 50/50 drawing will benefit APT and Alpha Phi’s philanthropic programs benefitting women’s heart health.

We are still working on a location for the annual Scholarship event – we hope to have an update to report at the February event.
Elections will be held in June and we will need a nominating committee to meet in April to develop a slate of officers for the upcoming year. Please let Barbara know if you are interested in serving on the nominations committee.

Meeting Report
Scholarship Event
The annual Scholarship event is tentatively scheduled for April 5. We are waiting on date availability confirmation from either Delta Delta Delta or Alpha Gamma Delta as a location for the event.
Potential donors and auction items were discussed and those in attendance had several ideas of desirable items they thought they could secure for the auction. Delegates agreed that the auction items should be curated and the number of items limited to encourage competitive bidding. A strong preference was indicated to bring back the live auction for the top three most expensive auction items.
Nancy McConnell will continue in role as Scholarship Committee Chair and will work with delegates to distribute the 2025 Scholarship applications.
To ensure the success of the event, APT needs the following Committee Chairs. The roles do not need to be filled by a primary delegate – any NPC alumna in good standing with their organization can volunteer.
Event Chair: Plans the annual Scholarship Event including site selection, budget, marketing, and execution. APT delegates will be recruited to assist on the Event Planning committee. Chair reports to the Board.
Fundraising Chair: In addition to creating fun and engaging fund raising activities, the Fundraising Chair works closely with the Event Chair to organize the silent and live auctions and facilitate auction donations from the APT delegates and local businesses. APT delegates will be recruited to assist on the Fundraising committee. Chair reports to the Board.

Senior Induction into Alumnae Panhellenic
The idea to bring back a graduating senior event for FSU Panhellenic women was discussed and then tabled for further discussion at a future meeting. It was determined that trying to work around the Scholarship event, FSU chapter events for graduating seniors, and the FSU Panhellenic Greek Awards event posed too much of a challenge for our limited resources.
